Nagoya Homestay Chapter 3

HAPPY NEW YEAR ,PEOPLE!!

Say hello to 2009!
And sadly...to SPM year.
So here's my New year's Resolution (10)
[1] Spend LESS!!!

[2] TRY to finish my homework on time

[3] Be less Goofier.

[4] Keep off the computers during weekdays.

[5] No more entertainments after May

[6] Only 2 comics (Maximum) per week.

[7] Keep Okasan posted every month

[8] Be a lady by SPM.No more boy-ish madness,If not,nobody wants me.*sobs*

[9] Be less careless.Rajin a bit.Pay more attention in class (Have been saying that since standard 1.But its just.SO FRIGGIN HARD!!Especially the pass up homework in time part.)

[x] Be myself.For now.No more puppy love/admires until AFTER SPM.

Phew.

Ps : Free hugs/kiss if you give me a well-written essay on
"Yesteray" & "Tommorow"
And I mean it.WORK with me ,people!!!I need these essays by January 11!!

I tried my luck.AGAIN.I was anxious to call my okasan.
And my call got through!!Ureshi...(^^)
It was the 9th attempt.And the operator's voice startled me.
Oh My GOSH.
Okasan answered the call.
"Okasan?"
And she was like...
"Aah...Jo!!"
Then we were both screaming like mad gurls.
Omg.I missed her so MUCH.I felt the tears again.
We chatted for a while.Then She put Otosan on.Eep.
Otosan : Do you like the Christmas CD I gave you?
Me : *Squeals* Yes,YES OF COURSE!I listened to it, EVERY NIGHT!
Then Okasan put me on with Makishi
He said...dunno wad...Something like Makite ne.I think it means I miss you,because okasan kept saying "I miss you" (Background voice)
Then finally Hajime.I heard,a simple "Aa"
(>///<)!!! Okasan called me to go find her again,which i WILL.Huhu. SOON. She said she sent me a new year card.And I was trying to tell her I received the card I sent back from Japan.I think she misunderstood me.Ah well.Huhu.Im sooooo happy my call got through.Gosh,and I miss Yota so much too-this Japanese guy I had a crush on.He's SOO Sweet! He's 18. DOESN'T look like 18,Coz' he luuuves to play with the younger kids.Aww. He's English is good. He's er...kinda Nerdy-I like Nerdy boys.They look cute sometimes. And....he has braces on too. Ureshi...Anyways...enough of this.After TRYING to burn the Stupid video I made to my foster fam.,i FAILED.For 3 DAYS I HADN'T SLEPT. (Ask Yen for proof) Gah...I finally gave up and mailed it to them.

So,enough brag.Here's what happened in the 2nd day in Nagoya Homestay.

THURSDAY 18 / 12 / 08

Day 2 in NAGOYA

Early this morning,I woke at 7 something,as usual.Okasan said her mum & dad will be coming over. (Sugoi) To er...take care of The kids so that she can bring me out .
Saw Otosan when I got down.He was just leaving for work.
"Otosan ,Itterashai!!"

Anyways,I wrote down my Chinese name in my notebook,Showing Okasan.She read it as "Rin Sou Oku"
Huhu..a very weird name. XD
Anyways,While waiting for Obasan&Ojisan's arrival.I dug out the two gifts I'd prepared for the kids.
A set of race cars for The elder one,And a music fun kit for the younger one.
They tore it open and played with it right away.(Sweat)

After breakfast...

*Doorbell Rings...*
A VERY fair,pretty,too young to be 60-lady and a fine old man walked through the door.I imediately jumped to my feet.

"Obasan.Ojisan.Er...hi!Hajimemashite!"
I acted all excited and stuff.I was a 'lil shocked to see them.

Ojisan turned out to be the 'silent one' and Obasan,the happy and chirpy one.
NO WAY.She looked WAAY too young to be a grandmama.

[Darn..this one's a bit blur]

Anyways,we went out at about 9 something in the morning.Yosh...we went to a nearby place called Yakimono Sanpomichi .Meaning, a place for Potteries where you can have a stroll in.

Here's the Map.
There are 25 places in total.And it is located on a hill.The view was pretty too.Bought Some potteries in the third store I visited.

These are the 9 items I bought.See the pink one on the left.Some how,that wasn't for sale.But the kind old lady gave it to me for free.Sugoi!

The main Store. The fox & The Toad is believed to bring good luck to people.As with the cat,NEKO.

One of the shops in Yakimono Sanpomichi.Saw a really FAT & Cute cat.Somewhere in the pic....or maybe not.

There you ARE!! Naughty kitty.Cute ,Right?

The 'lil' fence,steps are all made of lil' pipes.
The really taaaaaaaaaall chimney used by the Japanese to make Potteries.They were also used in the olden days.

A lil' Shrine we passed by on the way.Saw this in many animes.
The Cat's Shrine.
Okasan gave me a coin,and we threw it into the box(With the words)and shook the bell next to it.

After going through all 25 streets,
Okasan & I headed to an Italian Restaurant to settle our stomachs and to quench our thirst.

I ordered Tomato flavour and she ordered mushroom.

Itadakimasu~

Later,We went to Inax Museum.

This is my Okasan,doing her tiles.

Mine's the darker one,Okasan gave me hers (Left one) on the last day.
See the white tiles?Its spelled my nameHadn't realised it until Suzanne told me this afternoon.

We met a magazine-cover model in the workshop.
Kelly's the name.Darn hawt man..Too bad I can't get a picture of her.

Later,We visited every museum there.
Ancient toilet bowls.Where Guys pee in.Its like a bamboo-shaped thingy.
Then All sorts of tiles.Even Muslim patterns.English.Dutch.Japanese.Chinese.Egypt.

After that,
we went to Beisia again to get some ingredients to make dinner.We're making Sushi and Miso soup!Mm....
On the way,Okasan brought me to this manga store.I almost Fainted in there.Its not big.But its definately paradise!!The comic books there are so damn thick!!Bought 2.One of them is Lala Magazine.The one I've been looking for.It has Kaichou wa Maid-sama 's latest post.Woot!!!Another book caught my eyes.MUCH thicker.Er..I don't know the English name of it.But,Its front cover is "Hei Zhe Shi"s pic.There were free things from the Manga.One free Manga Calender & A 2009 planner.

Tadaima~
Okasan and Obasan were busy cutting and cooking the miso soup.
Here's the receipe.

To make Miso soup:

1. 3 cups of hot water.and boil it.
2. Pour in the Miso powder.
3. Cut tofu ino lil' squares.
4. Cut some green onion and throw it in.
5. Put in some wakame (Soft seaweed)
6. Alas,2 small scoop of Miso paste.

While waiting for the soup to be ready (Okasan's at it)
Obasan took out ALL her postcards and letters AND pictures and showed them to me.She was in Hawaii.She seemed to LOVE that place.She had a penpal(now) who was her college friend.The views...they were awesome.EVERY SINGLE pictures,she showed me patiently.Not showing the slightest bit of impatience.Her eyes lit up as she spoke.After that,She presented me something really wonderful.

A set of Japanese Dolls.I was sooooo DAMN Happy.And then,Okasan got out her wedding gift by Obasan,and showed it to me.It was triple the size of mine.And the clothes were VERY fine.And its Pretty.

She also showed&gave me a 2009 calender based on Mount. Fuji.Pretty..........

Dinner time
Hoishi!!!!

LOVE Dinner that night.I ate a lot.AND the most.

Otosan came home halfway.And HE and I were the ones left eating.
Anyways,
since Everyone was back.I got the remaining gifts down and gave them to Okasan,Obasan & Otosan.
A nightgown and a Batik cloth for Okasan.
A Batik cloth for Obasan.
And a Malaysian Hand-made with beans and tissue-dried papers photo album for Otosan.

(Luckily I brought 2 batik clothes man...So I could afford another gift to Obasan who made me the dolls.)
I brought along my baju kebaya.

Then.The fashion show began

While I was preparing for bath,Otosan printed out all the pictures from Okasan's camera and pasted them into the picture album.Aww...
Otosan : I hope the pictures get more n more and finishes this album.

Bath was.AWESOME.Luuuuv the bath tub.Hot....atamaru..(>//<)!! Went to bed a lil' later than usual today. Was up watching TV with Otosan.A magic talent show was on.There was this really cute Korean guy. (Forgot the name) who plays with discs.His hands were so fast!!Kakoii........ Before going to bed...I showed Otosan my FULL name.And he translated them to Japanese Words in katagana. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
