WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD. Don't say I didn't WARN you.

Finally watched the latest movie for Detective Conan, aaand, here's my review.

*

As usual, the opening was able to grip people's attention. Given a flash of a suspense-level scene at the start, it had my toes curling with excitement all the way until the end. This is WHY I always loved Detective Conan movies. (I have long given up on the series, because the plot was boring.

However, I preferred the setting from the previous movie. The setting, airship, intrigued me more than a snow mountain. AND it had kaito! (faints) I'm a little upset the 15th movie skipped Kaito and Heiji.

Favourite scenes from the movie:

a. Conan reaches out his arm and protects Haibara on his skateboard when being targeted.

b. The plot was OK lar. Its another typical bombing kinda thing, but watching how Conan had to save the entire village from being drowned by the water that was held by the dam.

c. There was an upgrade of Conan's awesome little skateboard. It can glide on snow now. :D

d. Haibara's always secretly worried about Conan. I find that really adorable.

e.Ooh! The epic moment when Conan soared into the sky and Ran yelling "abunai!" I SWEAR that moment was really long.

f. Burried in the snow after an avalanche, Conan only had 3 minutes left of survival. This threw me to the edge of my chair. It kinda reminded me of one of the 'bomb' Conan movies where Ran had to cut the correct line to stop the bomb.

g. I LOVE LOVE LOVE how Conan can still think of a way to get himself saved (by ejecting a ball from his belt) even though that poor boy is probably half frozen to death.

*

Conclusion: I guess this is why they named it "The Quarter of Silence" Given only 15 minutes of survival in the avalanche. Oh, Ran's a pedo :p

over and out.
