I had to do it. I had a choice, but for months of consideration, I still did it.

I broke the fragile heart of a person that loved me so dearly. So, it seems.

Dear orange, if only you could see this now, I am just as confused as you are.

Apple is a great person, but I just can't picture any future together.

Love? Happiness?

I don't deserve it. There is nothing more I can say. All I can say is, there are too many barriers. I'm tired.

Papa was humiliated, insulted by the others. Mama told me papa cried in his sleep. Papa said to me one day that he will make me stop my education in Singapore and go back to my hometown and continue studies there.

Maybe it's time I stop thinking only for myself.

But then again, is this truly what I want?

I don't know.

Apple, I don't deserve your love. In fact, I don't think I deserve anyone at all.

The eight months, I grew up a lot.

One thing is for sure, I had had feelings for you.

Thank you for teaching me to love again, but I don't think I am ready for it.

And so, as I write this, I build a wall around my heart.

This time, I will guard it.
